Doctor Who (The New Series)
Right from the very first episode you can see that there is a connection between The Doctor and Rose Tyler. That connection is there the moment he first takes her hand in his and saves her life. This connection continues to grow through the all 13 episodes to culminate in a dramatic ending where each is willing to do whatever it takes to save the other.
The Doctor (9th)/Rose Tyler/Jack Harkness
When we first meet Captain Jack Harkness, we (the viewer) don't truly realize what an important role he is going to play in the show. From the moment he saves her life, you can see the attraction between him and Rose. This attraction builds as he works on seducing her. The moment the Doctor meets him, there are sparks. At times, you're not sure if those sparks are from attraction, dislike, lust, or what... Gradually you find out that as a 51st century man, Jack is omni-sexual. This starts the mind spinning as you realize that Jack would have no problem with being with either the Doctor or Rose or both. As an alien being, we can only imagine that the Doctor, too, is not limited in his sexual adventurousness. This just leaves Rose... would she be willing to entertain the idea of two gorgeous men? One can only hope so through fan fiction.
